Weddings

Congratulations if you are just starting to think about a church wedding! You are very welcome to be married at St John the Baptist, Marldon if you live within the parish boundaries, or if you are a member of our congregation. We know that you might like to marry in a church away from where you live because it has special significance for you through family or other connections, so even if you don’t live in the parish, you may well still be able to get married here.

Visit our weddings site https://www.churchofengland.org/weddings-baptisms-funerals/weddings.aspx to check the legal aspects of getting married in church, and find out all about planning your ceremony.

Our usual Sunday services at Marldon in January, February and March are at 9.15 am. However, there will be NO service in Marldon on Sunday March1st- instead there will be a Team Service at Totnes at 10.30 am led by Revd Preb Julian Ould.
The usual fifth Sunday Team Service at the end of March (Mar29th) will be held at Bridgetown at 10.30 am, so again there will be NO service at Marldon on that day.

Celtic Communion services are on the fourth Sunday of the month (Jan 26th, Feb 23rd, and Mar 22nd) - a shorter, spoken service, still at 9,15

All welcome to any or all of our services. We'd love to see you there!
