Weddings

Congratulations if you are just starting to think about a church wedding! You are very welcome to be married at St John the Baptist, Marldon if you live within the parish boundaries, or if you are a member of our congregation. We know that you might like to marry in a church away from where you live because it has special significance for you through family or other connections, so even if you don’t live in the parish, you may well still be able to get married here.

Visit our weddings site https://www.churchofengland.org/weddings-baptisms-funerals/weddings.aspx to check the legal aspects of getting married in church, and find out all about planning your ceremony.

Our usual Sunday services at Marldon in January, February and March are at 9.15 am. However, on February 10th there will be NO SERVICE at Marldon as there will be a Team Service at St. John's Totnes at 10.30.

On January 27th, February 24th and March 24th there will be a spoken Celtic Communion (which tends to be a shorter family service.)

Mothering Sunday is on March 31st - all Mums, Dads and Guardians welcome!

All welcome to any or all of our services. We'd love to see you there!
