Congratulations if you are just starting to think about a church wedding! You are very welcome to be married at St John the Baptist, Marldon if you live within the parish boundaries, or if you are a member of our congregation. We know that you might like to marry in a church away from where you live because it has special significance for you through family or other connections, so even if you don’t live in the parish, you may well still be able to get married here.

Visit our weddings site to check the legal aspects of getting married in church, and find out all about planning your ceremony.

Our usual Sunday services at Marldon in March and April are at 9.15 am, with a Celtic communion service on Palm Sunday, March 25th. (On Palm Sunday the service will begin at 9.00am,)

However, on the fifth Sunday in April there will be a Team Service at Marldon, starting at 10.30 am.

(The service on April 22nd will include the APCM.)

April 29th - baptism of Rupert James Kettle-Buchanan during the Team Service at 10.30 am
May 27th - baptism of Ellis Oliver Abercrombie.

All welcome to any or all of our services. We'd love to see you there!
